Fast and safe method with immediate results
When treating wrinkles or folds the crystal-clear NASHA gel is injected into the skin in tiny amounts with a very thin needle. The injected gel gives natural volume under the wrinkle which is lifted up and smoothed out. A treatment takes about 30 minutes and the results can be seen immediately. The method is fast and safe and leaves no scars or other traces on the face. As NASHA is not of animal or human origin a skin-test is not needed and this means that you can have the treatment done immediately.
Most patients choose to have a follow-up treatment four to nine months later. Clinical trials show that Restylane & Teosyal is effective for up to one year after the treatment of wrinkles.
Post-treatment
Immediately after the treatment there may be some redness, swelling, tenderness or an itching sensation in the treated area. Very occasionally there may be minor bruising. This is a normal result of an injection & should resolve within a week.
Side-Effects
Restylane & Teosyal contains the body's own natural material, hyaluronic acid. Since the hyaluronic acid in our products is not made from animals, there is no risk of transmitting diseases from animals or eliciting allergic reactions in patients who are sensitive to common foods, such as beef, chicken and eggs.
There is no risk of an allergic reaction or "Trout Pout" as there can be from animal based or collagen injections.
