What is a skin peel?
A skin peel is a resurfacing treatment designed to improve and enhance the skin. Benefits include skin clarity, even skin tone, uniform colour and improved texture. There is a specific skin peeling solution for virtually every skincare issue that you may have whatever your skin type or colour. Typically we treat faces but we can also treat neck, chest, backs and hands depending on what you’d like to correct.

I offer skin peels, sometimes called chemical peels that require no pre treatment preparation which gradually improve the appearance and texture of skin without irritation or lifestyle disruption to stronger medium peels that require a period of pre treatment preparation and timing consideration for any downtime post treatment. I must stress the importance of a good skincare regime using cosmeceutical quality skincare products from my ranges to achieve reliable results.

My resurfacing treatments range from superficial, gentle enzyme based through to medical grade. I also offer treatments suitable for Asian and Black skins.

Solution: Alpha Beta Peels Circadia by Dr Pugliese

A very effective peel using the perfect blend of acids to exfoliate without harshness, irritation or inflammation. A new technology in peeling. You’ll experience little or no stinging and should not experience flaking or peeling.
SKIN TYPES: Tolerated by most skin types and colours. Two strengths; 30% Lactic Acid with 10% Salicylic Acid and 40% Lactic Acid with 15% Salicylic Acid Improvements can be seen and felt after one treatment however for optimal results a course of treatments are recommended

Problem: Pigmentation, Skin Lightening, Acne Marks , Age Spots

Solution: Skinceutical’s Pigment Regulator Peel, Image Lightening Lift and Circadia's Mandeliclear Peel

Circadia’s Mandeliclear Peels are all specifically designed to improve skin affected by uneven pigmentation in the skin such as sun damaged skin’s sun spots, liver spots, darkened acne scars, Circadia’s Mandeliclear Peel is specifically formulated for darker skin colours including Black and Asian skin. Improvements can be seen and felt after one treatment however for optimal results a course of treatments are recommended Two to four weeks (for darker skin colours and Black skin) pre peel home skincare preparation is needed before skin lightening peels. This will include the use of an antioxidant serum, a tyrosinase enzyme inhibiting serum (to begin break up of pigmented cells) and a broad spectrum sunscreen. Although this is technically not a peel I have included it here as many clients with these skin issues think that a peel is their only option.

The Oxygen Rx facial treatment can be used on any skin type or colour. Oxygen’s germicidal action makes it extremely beneficial for acne especially cystic acne. The lightening and vaso-constricting action gives instant results for Rosacea. The procedure is quick, easy and pleasant. The end result is clear and luminous skin with a feeling of firmness. It can be repeated as often as once a week (oxygen only). Once every other week with Enzyme Mask Peel included.
